Is the service really free?
Partially, our service offers both a free tier and a paid tier to accommodate the platform's growth and sustainability. Free users are granted access to a limited number of downloads to encourage contributions. In contrast, paid users not only enjoy these benefits but also receive an additional download quota. This is in recognition of their support and to ensure they can fully leverage the unique, non-copyrighted course material they contribute to the platform.
How do you handle login information?
We pass your login information to the Authentication service via a POST request, then encrypt and upload it to a column on our user table. Afterward, we delete the column to protect our users, ensuring that your data remains secure at all times.
How often do you release updates?
I update this project as I find passion for it. So far I've updated this project once a year. Feel free to message me if you have any feedback or features you want added.
What about data privacy and security?
We use Supabase and Vercel, implementing row-level security and policies to protect user data. Passwords are encrypted on the table and then deleted after the user session ends. We also encourage users to change their passwords regularly.
